Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is a non-invasive solution to hair loss. We replicate individual hair follicles with care and precision to add density to balding areas, camouflage scar lines and create the appearance of fuller, natural looking hair.
According to statistics, androgenetic alopecia is the most common cause of hair loss in men, accounting for over 95%. Women are also affected, with around 40% showing signs of hair loss by the age of 40.
SMP is often compared to tattooing. Though traditional tattooing and SMP are similar in that they both utilize needles to deliver pigment into the skin, their techniques and equipment differ greatly. SMP is a very delicate and precise technique. It requires a professional who knows how to replicate the hair follicles with the proper size needle and the use of specific SMP inks. It is not just “little black dots”.
