Skin tone irregularities, such as scars from surgeries, burns, or injuries can be camouflaged just about anywhere on the body by gently tattooing skin-toned ink over the scar. This technique can reduce the visibility of tonal contrast considerably.

It's always best when the scar has aged at least a year and has become flat and lighter in color than your overall skin tone, or when the area to be tattooed is lighter in color than your overall skin tone.

This process is also called Corrective Pigment Camouflage (CPC), Corrective Camouflage, Skin Repigmentation, Scar Camouflage, Skin Camouflage, Camouflage Tattooing, and Skin Color Tattooing.
